Gordon Brown throws in the towel!

We cannot stop data blunders says Gordon Brown. The Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, appears to have surrendered to the problem of government data leakage, despite growing public concern about the regularity of serious failures by public bodies to safeguard sensitive personal data. I propose to send Mr Brown a copy of my summary of practical measures that might help the government fight the problem, rather than just throwing in the towel!
