Government policy is not always the result of long-considered, carefully deliberated and debated reasoning. Very often unforeseen events dictate a need for policy to be rapidly revised, or created from scratch.
This seminar uses a hypothetical situation (popular protests against a Government policy) to illustrate how a Systems approach could facilitate agile and dynamic policy development, by providing ways of dealing with emergent information systems.
