Innovation is not the whole ball-game for a CIO

Barely a day goes by without some pundit or other proclaiming the CIO’s future as Chief Innovation Officer.

I strongly disagree.

After many years analysis and practical experience as a CIO, it is clear to me that the Future CIO role will be about business integration and the integrity of the business within a connected world.
